Bozonie, Elizabeth "Liz" Lee of Watertown, MN, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025 surrounded by friends and loved ones. Liz was born on July 1, 1948 to Roma Elizabeth (née Featherstone) and Michael John Bozonie Sr. in Minneapolis, MN. After Liz graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1966, she went on to study at the University of Minnesota. After graduating she went on to become a restaurant designer at Palm Brothers and designed places all across the country. In her later years she and her beloved therapy dog Shadow, worked with elderly community members and cared for all of those around her. Her true passion was animals and the outdoors - especially horses and dogs. She was active throughout her life in eventing and dressage including being honored with the Von Bluecher award from the Central States Dressage and Eventing Association. She loved her dogs and worked with and trained rescue and service animals competing in agility with her beloved English Shepherd Wilson. She also was always in her garden and was well known for her skill with plants. Liz was predeceased by her mother Roma, father Michael, sister Heath Snider, and nephew Durham Snider. She is survived by her brother Michael Bozonie Jr. (Linda Lucas) and her nieces and nephews Jordan Snider (Katie), Tina Snider, Roman Snider, Kenzi Brown (Charlie), and Lillian Bozonie as well as many well beloved friends. Services will be held at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, MN on Sunday March 30, with visitation at 1:00pm and the service to follow at 2:00pm.
