1940 - 2025

Edith passed peacefully on August 11th, 2025, with family present.

Edith is preceded in death by her daughter Annalynn Pruse and parents Nicholas and Lillian Heidtmann. Edith is survived by her loving children Nicholas Pruse, Rebecca Stevens (Dan), Theresa Pruse (Robyn), and Jonathan Pruse (Kelly), grandchildren Dakota & Noah Stevens (Rebecca), Brianna & Nathen Pruse (Nicholas), and Kai, Joey, & Abigail Pruse (Jonathan), and many amazing friends.

Edith served as a marine and worked as an operating room nurse at HCMC. She had a passion for learning, reading, traveling, art, music, nature, gardening, games, helping veterans, and a good martini. She loved spending time with family and friends.

To quote her fridge clipping "Life's journey is not to arrive at the finish line in a well-preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, Whoa what a ride!". Well done, Mom, you did it.
