Douglas Roger Graham (Doug) Obituary
Douglas Roger Graham (65) passed away quietly in his sleep December 1st due to complications from Diabetes.
Born to Roger and Olivia Graham on August 20, 1959. Doug graduated from Wayzata High School, Class of 1977.
He loved to play Softball and Golf, photographed beautiful sunsets and majestic animals that came into his view.
He was also exceptionally passionate about our home teams of the Minnesota Vikings, Twins and our old North Stars.
He graduated from Hutchinson Regional Technical College with an AAS degree in Non-Destructive Testing Technology. Hired by Chevron, he worked in Utah and the north slope of Alaska on the Alaska pipeline. As an inspector of welds in major construction projects, he was most proud of his work in the building of T-Mobile field in Seattle and Petco field in San Diego. The Petco project brought him to Asia and Korea where he developed a fondness for the Korean people and he often mentioned that he wished to live there someday.
He lived in the Seattle area for over 30 years. He recently retired and returned to Minnesota in February of 2024.
Doug is survived by his son Justin, brothers Scott and Donald, sister Nancy (Erik) Haugaard and his two nieces Liana and Kelsi of Seattle.
Preceded in death by his parents Roger and Olivia Graham.
We'll miss his sense of humor, caring spirit and his playfulness as our youngest brother.
Rest in Peace Doug, we miss and love you!
To honor Doug's memory the family will hold a memorial service Monday December 23rd at 10am at the Church he had attended growing up.
