West St Paul, MN - Donna Marie Sandberg, 71, of West St Paul, MN, passed away on May 20th, 2025. Donna was born on August 12th,1953, at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was the third child born to Milton and Helen (nee Stone) Sandberg. She attended John F. Kennedy High School in Bloomington, MN. Donna then attended the Minneapolis Business College and later Dakota County Vo-tech, receiving diplomas from both schools.

As a child, Donna spent many summers with countless Sandberg cousins in the Brainerd-Baxter Lakes area. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was passionate about cooking, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Growing up with three brothers and having only sons, Donna was thrilled when daughters-in-law and granddaughters entered the picture.

Donna is survived by her sons, Matthew Goodson (Melissa) of Duluth, MN, and Brian Emery (Alison) of Farmington, MN; grandchildren Alexander (Emily), Ruby, Maggie, and Claire; great-grandchildren Luca and Evelyn; brother Bradley, and special friend Jim. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David and Dale.

She was passionate about Jesus Christ and living a Christian life. She regularly attended church throughout her life. Special thanks to the Southview Acres Healthcare Center and HealthPartners for providing compassionate hospice care during her final days.

A brief ceremony will take place outdoors at Bloomington Cemetery at 10:00AM on June 16th, 2025. Interment of Donna's cremains will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association are preferred.
