North Branch, MN - 79, of North Branch, MN, passed away on January 4, 2026, at Ecumen Assisted Living, with his wife and Denise at his side.
He grew up in NE Minneapolis. During his life journey he lived in Coon Rapids, Lake Miltona, and Mesa, AZ.
Donny loved sports and excelled at softball, bowling, golf, and horseshoes. He also enjoyed his 39 years at United Defense. He touched many lives with his friendliness, generosity, kindness, and sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; daughter, Carrie (Chad) Cecil; son, John (Malinda) Westcott; grandchildren, Nora and William Cecil, Anthony Westcott, Allen and Tiffany Austad; stepdaughters, Denise Denson and Charlie, Pam Austad; brothers, Michael (Patty) Westcott and Steven (Sandy) Westcott; brother-in-law, Larry Thompson, and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
A heartfelt thanks to Ecumen Hospice and staff for taking such good care of Donny.
