Donald Ray Douglass (Don) Obituary
Don crossed the final Finishing Line on October 7, 2024
at Monarch Singletrack Trail in Carver Park, Victoria, MN.
He now stands on the podium (#1 in his age group of 71)
with his departed loved ones cheering him on, including
his parents Donald Douglass & Madalyne Phillips.
Don lived his life with passion, commitment to excellence,
and unwavering loyalty to his friends and loved ones.
Don is survived & missed by his loving wife Frannie of
26 years; his siblings and their families; Bill Douglass,
Barb (Jack) Brancel, nephews Eric & Corey Brancel,
Robert (Kathy) Douglass, nieces Chance & Lavin Douglass,
Frannie's sister Georgie (John) Dawson, nieces Lydia
(Casey) McDaniel, and Quintessa (Wentzel) van der Berg.
He is also missed by his amazing road, fat tire & mountain
biking friends in Excelsior, MN, Leadville, CO & Tucson, AZ.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life
ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound
impact it had on the lives of those he met along the way. He
was always there to listen, give advice or lend a helping hand.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in November.
