Minneapolis, MN - Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Dodie enjoyed a career of service as a nurse and volunteer.

She was an avid cribbage player and Sinatra fan.

Preceded in death by parents Leo and Margaret Friesen, sister Dorothy Morris, brother Leo Friesen, Jr., and husband Theodore

McCarty. Survived by sister Elizabeth (Betty) Redding (John), sister-in-law Arlene Friesen, children Cindy (Patrick), Kathy (Ron), and Michael, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Community Assistance (SACA).

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on July 1 at Church of St. William, 6120 5th St. NE, Fridley. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m.
