Duluth, MN - David Richard Seeler passed away on march 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Born on September 11, 1955.

David was the beloved son of Richard Harold Seeler and the late Joan Elise Jurgens. Dave was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, husband, and brother. He worked for Hennepin County as a parole officer for 36 years. Following the death of his wife, Betsy, Dave went back to school and became a registered nurse and achieved his goal of becoming a Board Certified Psychiatric registered nurse. Dave was extremely proud of being a registered nurse, and of getting his Board Certification. In 2023, Dave married Andrea Ruth Meyer, whose loving relationship ended too soon. He loved music, and played acoustic and electric guitar. Dave loved the outdoors- paddling in the BWCA, bird hunting, and golf. What made Dave so special was his big heart, his generosity, and his fierce love of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed for his culinary skills, wit, and for being a lovely human being.

Dave is preceded in death by his mother Joan, his wife Betsy, and stepmother Marilyn.

Survived by wife, Andrea; children Ryder (Shanan), Cody (Midori), Terra (Chulmin), Tate (Shelby), and step sons Nicholas and Anders Kemppainen; grandchildren, Samantha, River, Lake, Aksel, Henry, Ali, Brecken, Noah, and great grandson Vincent. Siblings, Dan (Kris), Debra, (Geoff), Deedee (Mike), Diane (Leslie), Donna (John); former wife and mother to three of his children, Nanette Dupre, and many other beloved family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held April 27th, 2025 at 3 pm at Tanners Brook golf course, 5810 190th St. N, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Sharing of memories and dinner will follow the service.
