David Russell Nord Obituary
St. Louis Park - Age 88, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 6, 1938, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to the late Cyril and Dorothy Nord. David believed deeply in unconditional love and will be remembered for his kindness, humor, dedication to Jesus Christ, and faithful service to his country. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his sister, Mary (Stan) Curtis; his children, Thomas (Doreen) Nord, Diane (Robert) Campell, Robert (Valerie Ruby) Newman, Roberta Maresh, and Heather (Brian) Staffeld; as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joel "Joey" McClure, Lois Riley, and Douglas Nord, and by his son, Raymond (Nord) Stevens. David's ashes will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
