David George Heider (Dave) Obituary

Hopkins - age 62 of Hopkins, died at home on December 1, 2025. He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Helen Heider; his children Robin (Justin Treberg) Heider and James Heider; his wife, Teresa; and his siblings Joseph (Catherine), James (Joanne), John, Douglas (Jane), and Marie (Troy) Reiter. Dave graduated from Benilde St. Margaret's High School and Cardinal Stritch University. He was a beloved dad, son, brother and friend. He loved everything sports– playing, watching, and always analyzing. He was also quite the storyteller, almost always sharing something funny that happened on the golf course, basketball court, or softball field. Most of all Dave was a devoted and loving father. He was so very proud of Robin and Jimmy. David George Heider was a kind, thoughtful, funny, beautiful soul and will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace. An open-house visitation will be held in Dave's honor on Tues, December 16 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Washburn-McReavy Hopkins Chapel.
