St. Paul - age 77, of St. Paul, Minnesota, and West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. Preceded in death by his parents, Allen Gray and Marjorie Gray Fox (Dockman); and his first wife, Candy Gray. Survived by his wife, Robin Gray; and her daughters, Kathy Morgenstern and Stacey Igel, and their spouses and children. Also survived by his brothers, Roger and Richard Gray; his sister, Wendy Fox, along with their spouses, and a gaggle of treasured children and grandchildren, and lifetime friends. David was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts. He was a citizen of the world, traveling extensively, gathering and maintaining friends throughout his life. David was a sculptor, inventor, philanthropist, and businessman whose AxMan business inspired artists, inventors, and curious and enchanted customers. He loved riding his bike, sailing, golf, bocce, studying world history and events, collecting and creating art, engaging in serious and silly discussions, but most of all he loved life and encouraged people to appreciate every day.
