Abdella, Darlene Joyce (Heilman) Age 90 of Northfield, died peacefully, January 5, 2025. Darlene was born on September 20, 1934, in Freeport, Illinois, to Howard and Alinda (Kilker) Heilman. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, the Rev. Wayne Abdella; son Blake (Beth) Abdella of Northfield, daughter Jacqulynn Abdella (Shane Brown) of Cincinnati, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A celebration of Darlene's life will be held this spring. Memorials preferred to Abdella Scholarship Fund - Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. www.northfieldfuneral.com
