Fridley, MN - Daniel George Hill of Mounds View, MN died peacefully on March 22, 2026 with his wife Joann at his side. Dan was born in Minneapolis, MN on April 21, 1936 to Marjorie and George Hill. He was the oldest of four children and grew up in St. Anthony Park, MN. He attended Murray High School and studied Agronomy and Accounting at the University of Minnesota. Dan served as a sergeant in the Army National Guard, and was an avid fly fisherman, reader and lover of music. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marj Perry and brother John Hill. He is survived by his wife Joann, brother Thomas, son Stephen, daughter Kristen (Cortney LeNeave), grandchildren Sarah (Andy Glennon), Cort (Bri) and Katie (Joe Geske) and three great grandchildren. Dan will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends. Final arrangements are pending and will be shared at a later time.
