Lakeville, MN - Damon Michael Mueller, our sweet and loving boy, passed away on August 26, 2025. Born on July 18, 2016, he filled every day of his short life with immense joy and laughter. Even as he faced significant challenges, he met each day with courage, grace, and a bright light that touched everyone around him.

Damon's world revolved around his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Boomer. He found his greatest happiness in their company. Affectionately known as the "tickle monster," his boundless charm, humor, laughter, and loving hugs brought smiles to everyone who knew him.

Damon loved people and animals and was truly a friend to everyone he met. He was filled with compassion, love, and acceptance, always seeing the good in others and offering kindness without hesitation. Beyond his playful nature, he had a heart of gold. He was deeply moved by the suffering of others and often spoke of his dreams to help those in need. This selfless desire was a beautiful reflection of the kind, empathetic spirit that defined him.

One of Damon's favorite things to do was go to school. He loved learning and being with his teachers and classmates. The kindness and encouragement he received from his school community meant the world to him and brought him so much joy.

Damon grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota, where he was surrounded by a loving community of family and friends who adored him. He will be forever loved and missed by his devoted mother, Joann Elizabeth Mueller, and his loving father, Dane Adam Mueller. He was the adored little brother of Aden Matthew Mueller and Mason Adam Mueller, and the cherished grandson of Judee Oldham, Ann Hooker, and Carl and Lynda Mueller. He will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large and loving group of prayer warriors who lifted him and his family through every step of his journey.

Though his time with us was far too brief, the love he shared and the light he brought into the world will shine on forever.

A celebration of Damon's life will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wyndham in Burnsville, Minnesota.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Damon Mueller Legacy Fund, which is being established to honor Damon's compassionate spirit and provide lasting support to the causes he cared deeply about. Details about the fund will be available at the Celebration of Damon's Life and shared with family and friends once finalized.
