Grove, OKLAHOMA - Dale Francis Churchill, born December 4, 1947, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on May 4, 2026.

Dale was born and raised in Waseca by his parents, Charles "Chuck" and Jean Churchill. After graduating from high school, he attended Gustavus Adolphus College, where he earned his degree and became a Certified Public Accountant. Dale dedicated many years to Sterner Lighting, serving as Vice President until his retirement.

Dale grew up playing basketball and baseball and carried his love of sports throughout his life. He loved to play golf and even became certified as a golf club maker. Dale enjoyed challenging himself with crossword puzzles and embraced new adventures, including learning to fly a plane. Brilliant and highly motivated, Dale was always eager to learn new skills. He had a deep love and zeal for life that touched everyone around him.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Jean Churchill, and his brother, Gary Churchill. He is survived by his brothers: Scott Churchill and wife Diane; children: Kelly Churchill; Jeremy Churchill and wife Robin Churchill; and Kimberly Jepsen and husband Kevin Jepsen. He is also survived by his grandson Tyler Pfeifer; granddaughter Christeena Bluemke and husband Derek Bluemke; granddaughter Aubrianna Churchill; granddaughter Samantha Oakley and husband Isaiah Oakley; grandson Gavin Churchill; and great-grandchildren Isabella Blanchard, Matthew Bluemke, and Gracelynn Bluemke, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Grandwood Assisted Living and Elara Caring Hospice Care for their kindness, patience, and devoted care during Dale's final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at MooShine Ridge Farm in Vinita, Oklahoma, where Dale's ashes will be scattered on the farm he loved so dearly. May Dale's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
