Craig Edward Schaffer passed away on March 1,2025 in Minneapolis, Minnesota after nearly a yearlong battle with Lymphoma.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Craig was born in Wilton, Iowa in June of 1945. He attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in economics. Craig remained an avid supporter of Hawkeye sports unless they were playing against the Gophers. He married his college sweetheart, Kay Banister, in December,1968. His fascination with cars led him into the automobile business until his retirement.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents Eileen and Edward Schaffer

and is survived by his wife, Kay, son, Brian Schaffer and daughter Kristin Lander & her husband Eric, as well as his granddaughters, Sveja and Brynja Schaffer.
