Marathon, FL - Connie Melin 74, of Marathon, FL passed away peacefully with family by her side.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Shirley (Carlson) Mather. Connie loved raising her four children and traveling the world with her beloved Husband Bill. Her many hobbies included bowling, bingo, reading, playing board games, and watching Game Shows. One of the many things Connie will be remembered for is her generosity and kindness, which included making sure everyone always had what they needed. As a Grandma her greatest joy was seeing the happiness in her grandchildren's faces when spending individual time together. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her brother, Gary (Sherry), her children Jason (Rachel), Terry (Becky), Amy (Vito), Matt (Tricia), her step children Skip (Marta), Jeff (Amy) and her grandchildren Martin, Cameron, Afton, Wes, McKenzie, Hunter, Arianna, Mariano, Giovanni, Olivia, Landen, Lia, Laney, and Wyatt, and her step grandchildren Mattie (Kyle), Betsy (Estefan), Nina (Andrew), Luke, Emily, along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Bill Melin, her parents Charles and Shirley Mather, brothers Mike, Chuck sister Kathy, and niece Kristin.

Service will be held at David Lee Funeral Home 1220 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391 on Wednesday January 28th, 2026, at 11am. Interment immediately following service at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408
