Beaverton, Oregon - Christine B. Edgar, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Beaverton, OR, on Friday, August 1, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, to Edward and Rita Budzyko. Growing up in Allentown, PA., Christine attended William Allen High School and Muhlenberg College, and later pursued a successful career in accounting.

Along the way, she called Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Connecticut home, before putting down lasting roots in Oregon. In 2006, she became an active member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Beaverton, where she served on church committees, church council, and the executive committee.

Christine is survived by her sister, Diane DeMatteo of Southlake, TX, and her son, Nathan Johnson of Portland, OR. Known for her generous heart and beautiful spirit, she will be dearly missed by her family and close friends. May she rest in peace with the angels and in God's eternal love.
