Chris J. Granias Obituary

Granias, Chris J. Age 73, passed away March 23, 2025 at home in Mounds View, MN after many years of living with MS. He is survived by his wife, Kristine; sons John (Ala) and Andrew (Anna); grandchildren Noah, Sophie, Basil and Ulysses. Chris was a pianist and composer and an educator most recently at MacPhail Center for Music and Perpich Center for Arts Education. He enjoyed his grandchildren and volunteering to feed the poor at FOCUS ministries. Each October Chris presented a concert to raise funds for the National MS Society. He enjoyed all things Greek and Chicago, family, family trees, Dad jokes and the Cubs. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Georgia and John Granias and sister Barbara Carrera. Visitation is Thursday, March 27 from 5-7:00 at the Washburn McRevy Shoreview location. Funeral on Friday, March 28 at 11:00 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 956 Forest St, St Paul MN.
