CheriAnne Davis-Johnson Obituary

Bloomington - 66, cherished wife and mother, passed to her heavenly home on December 3, 2025. A resident of Bloomington, MN where she also worked as a substitute teacher for 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Forrest Davis and Joan Stai Davis, and mother-in-law Peg Hargraves. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kurt Johnson, her children Robert, Annemarie (Ryan Kaulbars), Alicia, Dustin, and Vader (dog), brothers Robert Davis (Gigi) and Steve Davis as well as many nieces, nephews, close friends, and "bonus" children.

CheriAnne enjoyed life as a member of the Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, where she is a Past Matron of Lake Harriet Chapter 202. Throughout life she shared her passions participating in many camping programs as a camper, counselor, lifeguard, support staff and leader. She supported her children as a troop leader in both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and as the "team mom" for both Bloomington Jefferson Bowling and Showchoirs. We hope she will forever be remembered as a warm, safe space for anyone who needed one, a bright smile and large hug, her unconditional love, enjoying the occasional Margarita or shot of Patron, and to never be called Cheri.

A memorial celebration is to be held Friday, December 12, 2025. Visitation at 3 PM, OES Service at 4, Traditional Service at 4:30 with dinner to follow, Normandale Hylands United Methodist Church, 9920 Normandale Boulevard, Bloomington, MN 55437. CheriAnne's request would be for people to keep their black attire to a minimum but instead to wear joyful colors. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations that will be directed to support the Explorer Day Camp for Neurodivergent Campers at Camp Esquagama, and for a family/children reading space at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain.
