Achtelik, Charles E. age 82 of Princeton, MN and formerly of Brooklyn Center, MN passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 at the VA Home in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. Preceded in death by wife Sharon; parents Carl and Violet Achtelik; sister Carol Albert; granddaughter Sofia. Charlie served our country in Vietnam, returning to a lifelong career in the RV industry. Charlie's quick-wit was appreciated by all throughout his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed spending time at his place on Lake Mille Lacs, completing puzzles, volunteering at the VFW, watching all of the Minnesota sports teams, especially the Minnesota Twins. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survived by children Brian (Lara), Paul (Tracy), Melissa (Steve); stepsons Scott (Karen), Michael; adopted son Timothy; grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Kayla (Wesley), Natalie (Josh), Branden (Mya), Tyler (Catherine), Mackenzie, Evelyn, Danielle, Grace, Chloe, and Landon; siblings Victor (Colleen), Mary (Rod) Gillette and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life and private interment will be held in the Spring.
