Celine Therese Perkins
Perkins, Celine Therese Celine Therese Perkins passed away peacefully at home March 5, 2025, surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness with pulmonary fibrosis. Born June 2, 1958, Celine was a graduate of St Catherine's University in Saint Paul and trained as an occupational therapist. She became a gifted quilter, and left the medical field to start her own company, widely known as Perkins Dry Goods. She built a successful career teaching quilting, designing quilt patterns and tools, and marketing and selling those patterns worldwide. Celine was fun, spirited, and laughed a lot. Always genuine, she made friends easily and held them close. Inquisitive and creative, she always wanted to find out how something worked. She deftly juggled her roles as a wife, parent, friend and successful business owner, wielding Olympic-level organizational skills. She was a treasured mentor and always had the right word to carry one forward. She enjoyed travel, her family, her dogs and cats, sewing quilts and clothes for her grandchildren, and was the family IT expert. She lived by common sense, respect for others, and always doing the right thing, and expected the same from her children and those she was close to. Celine is preceded in death by her father, John Hulse, and is survived by husband Mark, children John (Lindsey), Molly (Shane) Heller, James (Kayla), Lisa Pinke, grandchildren Jack Heller, Lily Heller and Mila Perkins, mother Jeanne Hulse, sisters Michelle (Scott) Stevens, Cristi Hulse (Robert Daum), Mary Pat Hulse (Don Thomas), Michael (Cristine) Hulse, and many other relatives and friends. Celine left us far too early. She so much wanted to grow old with her husband, watch her grandchildren grow up, be with her children, enjoy her friends, and have more time to sew. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN, with visitation at the church an hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the church's website. Lunch will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Humane Society or the charity of your choice. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Eden Prairie Chapel 952-975-0400

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
