Mpls - Wickland, Caryn Labernik age 76, a lifelong Minnesotan, passed away August 15, 2025. Preceded in death by father, Fred Labernik, and brother, Tom Labernik. Caryn loved MN lakes; she wanted to be able to see one wherever she lived. She always had a cat, starting at one year old to her survived two cats, Eli and Emily. Her passion was teaching, motivating her "kids" (students) to become lifelong learners. She made her house a home and enjoyed hosting parties for family and friends. Caryn was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. Caryn is survived by her husband, Tony; mother, Joanne Labernik; sister, Rebecca Keller; sister-in-law, Gina Labernik; and Patti Wickland, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services: Saturday, September 6th, 3 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis.
