Edina - Carolyn Barbara Erling, 96, of Edina, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025.
Born in Minneapolis, she graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 1947. In 1953, she married her love, Erik Erling, and together they raised two sons. She worked as a secretary and medical transcriptionist and later as a docent at the American Swedish Institute. Curious and full of life, she found joy in her garden, art, travel, and coffee with friends.
Survived by son Steve (Lois) Erling; grandchildren Julia (Bill) Forelli, David (Katy) Erling, and Powl Erling. Preceded in death by husband Erik and son Paul.
