Bloomington, MN - Caroline Rose (Karabensh) Maher, of Bloomington, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by family July 10 at age 97.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine Karabensh; husband Vincent; brothers Karl, Richard, and Jack; and sisters Else, Charlotte, Catherine, Marian, Ruth Margaret and Ann.

She is survived by her six children, Rita (Leroy) Chavez, Jim (Antoinette) Maher, Gary (Marcia) Maher, Sandy Maher, John (Linda) Maher and Laurie (Mike) Padilla and by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19 with visitation one hour prior at The Church of St. Edward Catholic Church in Bloomington.

Luncheon reception will follow. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the charity of your choice.
