Key Biscayne, FL/Minnetonka - Age 86, of Key Biscayne, FL and Minnetonka, MN, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026. Preceded in death by mother, Agnes Berenberg Hoffman; and husband, Frank. Survived by sister Renee Kline; brother, Dr. Rick Noodleman (Dr. Arlene); children Lisa and Jill (Kevin) Brazner; grandchildren Ryan (Isabelle) and Blake Brazner. Toodie grew up in North Minneapolis, where she fell in love with Frank, the boy next door. Toodie always said that her life began when they married. For 63 years, they shared a storybook life together. We take great comfort in knowing they are together again for eternity. In her early years, Toodie worked at the Lincoln Del and Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary. As a volunteer for the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, she held leadership positions and co-chaired numerous events, including the Community Capital Campaign, the Big Gifts Dinner, and annual campaigns. Toodie received the prestigious Woman of Valor award for the tremendous impact of her philanthropic work for the community. Together with her husband, Toodie impacted the lives of countless individuals through charitable funds they established. They were especially proud of The Toodie and Frank Trestman Special Needs and Collaborative Education Fund, which provides assistance and programming for both children and adults with special needs. Toodie was the epitome of class and elegance, always meticulously dressed and styled. She loved shopping and was quite good at it! Selfless to her core, Toodie always took care of everyone else before herself. She especially doted on her two grandsons, whom she adored and in whom she took great pride. She was grateful to have both of them in Miami for the countless memories they made together. We are heartbroken by her passing but will feel her love with us forever.

A private funeral service will be held for family at Beth El Mausoleum in Boca Raton, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Agnes Berenberg Hoffman Emergency Aid for the Elderly at the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis, or the donor's preferred charity.
