New Brighton - Age 86, of New Brighton, MN, passed peacefully Nov 24, 2025. NE Mpls Native and Edison HS Graduate. Preceded in death by loving husband, Galen; son, Martin; parents, Edward and Caroline; siblings Edward, Rose, Stuart, Mary, Jack, and Thomas. Survived by children Penny Parrott (Jerry), Pamela Kilpela, Michael Graham (Toni), Tricia Misgen (Michael); grandchildren Andrew, Katlin, and Megan Parrott; Christina Cash, Eric Kilpela; Jack Graham; Abigail and Greta Misgen; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Santos. Survived by sister, Dorothy McMullen; in-Laws, Larry Unger, Kate Nelson and Chris Nelson with several nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Carol found immense joy in planning events that nurtured relationships and brought people together. She leaves behind a legacy of love, companionship, resilience, and generosity as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Memorial Service to be Held 11:00am, Friday, December 12, 2025 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th St. NW, New Brighton, MN. Visitation one hour before service with luncheon immediately following. Additional Celebration of Life 1:30p-5:30pm at Eagles Club, 563 Old Highway 8, New Brighton. Private Interment Hillside Cemetery.
