Barron, WI - Carol Lea Brown of Barron, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025 at the age of 91.
Carol (Curls) had a lifelong love of music. She was active in the local music club and sang in her church choir for many years. She also enjoyed spending time playing cards, dancing, and listening to her favorite songs. Known for her wonderful sense of style, she passed her love of fashion on to her grandchildren. Her high school yearbook described her as "happy-go-lucky," a phrase that perfectly captured the joyful, lighthearted way she lived her life.
May her spirit be free.
She is survived by daughter, Colleen TwoFeathers (James Dvorak); sons, Bob Brown and Joe Brown (Terri); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Pearson.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Brown; parents, Earl and Irene Sewall; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and granddaughter, Erin.
Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on December 6, at 11:00 a.m.
