Aarestad, Carol born December 25, 1953 died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 21, 2013, after a seven month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Sjostrum. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Paul; mother, Shirley; sons, Chris (Heidi) and Nick; granddaughters, Kristyn and Madison Aarestad; brothers, Bobby (Barbara) and Steve; sister and brother-in-laws; furry friend, Baxter; and numerous friends. Carol was a loving grandmother, never missing a game or dance recital. She was a caring compassionate person and a great friend. She was the bond that held everyone together. We will all miss her. Memorial service 7 PM Monday, October 28, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave. S., Burnsville (952-894-5080), with a gathering of family and friends from 5:30-7 PM Memorials preferred to the Humane Society.
