Mpls - Hedberg, Carl Jerome Age 86, of Mpls., passed away peacefully on Aug 7, 2025. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School ('56) and the University of Minnesota ('60). The following year, he married Eileen Sullivan Hedberg, built a home in Golden Valley and raised four children - Brian (Lori), Joel (Karla), Anne Schmiechen (Dave) and Jennifer Norwood (Dwan). He spent more than 30 years at Honeywell, retiring as an executive from their Solid State Electronic Center. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling, golfing, cooking, fishing and wintering in Palm Desert, CA. He was particularly proud of his children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Spending time with his family and friends brought him immense joy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Amos and Marie Effie (Henne) Hedberg, and several cherished uncles, aunts, in-laws and cousins. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eileen, their children and spouses, grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Mon., August 18, at St. Maron's Catholic Church, 600 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
