Richfield - age 69, of Richfield, passed away surrounded by his family on August 29, 2025. Survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Lori; children, Martin Rick, Laura (Nicholas) Wentz; stepsons, Brian (Kelly) Wentz, Kevin Wentz; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Terry) Andrew, Ginger (Scott) Justesen.

Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Donna Rick.


Bruce was a proud Veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Vietnam War. In 2018, Bruce retired from a 37-year career with NRG Energy. Bruce loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and tending to his yard. He was the ultimate handyman who always had a vision for a project. Bruce was also a legendary storyteller who loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.


Memorial Service 11am Thursday September 18th at Cedar Valley Church, 8600 Bloomington Avenue South, Bloomington. Visitation one hour prior to services at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
