Mpls, MN - Brittany was born on June 11, 1987. 'B' passed away peacefully at Abbott Hospital on Nov. 17, 2025, surrounded by love.

Brittany was a bright, unforgettable presence known to everyone lucky enough to cross her path. She was creative and artistic, and had a show-stopping singing voice. Growing up, Brittany was a dedicated soccer player, an exceptional student, and a friend to many during high school. She attended UMD and Normandale as an undergraduate after high school.

Later, the service industry became Brittany's world and her passion. She took pride in following in her Grandma Grace's footsteps, building a career rooted in the art of making people feel cared for. She worked in several of the Twin Cities' most respected restaurants, including Jax and The Lexington, forming a social circle that spanned the Twin Cities and Hudson.

Even on the hardest days in the last year or two of her life, Brittany had an extraordinary ability to find the light in a moment. She believed in recognizing small joys and in making people feel seen.

Brittany is survived by her mother, Linda Deason, her sister, Nicolette Deason, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Chris Deason, grandparents Ken and Mary Deason, Dudley and Grace Larson. She also leaves behind countless friends, coworkers, and the many people she touched with her signature hospitality, brightness, and humor.

After a long-fought illness, Brittany now rests in the peace she deserves. We will remember her for her strength, her wit, her charm, the vibrancy she brought to every room, and the pieces of her that shine far beyond struggle.

Funeral Service December 20, 2025, 10:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel at Lakewood Cemetery; 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation 1/2 hr prior to service. Reception following service in the Garden Mausoleum at Lakewood.
