Maple Grove, MN - Bonnie Swanson of Maple Grove, MN passed away November 2025 at the age of 76. She was born in 1949 in Minnesota as the eldest of 8 children. She lived nearly her entire life in Minnesota, graduating from Minneapolis North High School, & attending University of Minnesota. She worked as an administrative assistant even through multiple CPA firm mergers. She loved her card club & her hair lady Mona. She excelled at knitting & was a wonderful Mom, daughter, sibling, neighbor, friend, & coworker.

Bonnie was preceded in death by spouse Mike Swanson, Donald & Ruth Waataja, Stan & Jeanne Swanson, Russell Anderson, Dickson Schutjer, Dennis Saice.

She is survived by daughter Stephanie, son-in-law Lorenzo, Joan Anderson, Dawn & Mike Maruska, Lisa & Robert Hellerud, Patty Schutjer, Scott & Terri Waataja, Judy Saice, James & Deanna Waataja, Thomas Waataja, & many wonderful nieces, nephews, family, & friends.

Interment of Bonnie will be at Lakewood Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Grace hospice for the compassionate care they provided Bonnie in her final days.
