Beverly Elaine Marihart Obituary

Champlin, MN - Beverly Elaine (Lohse) Marihart, of Champlin, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Tuesday, December 2nd. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Marihart; her parents, Julia and Harold Lohse; her brother, Harlan Lohse; and her younger brother, Dennis.


Beverly grew up on a farm near Raymond, Minnesota, where she developed a strong work ethic and lifelong values that stayed with her throughout her life. She was a warm and social person who maintained many friendships over the years and was cherished by those who knew her.


She devoted 30 years of her professional life as an executive secretary at Honeywell, where she was respected for her dedication, organization, and professionalism.


Beverly enjoyed country music, especially Elvis, and loved traveling to Las Vegas, where she delighted in the energy and excitement of the city. Above all else, she deeply loved her children and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.


She is survived by her sister, Julie Lohse; her daughter, Kristine (Peter) Dahlin; her son, Kurt Marihart; and her grandchildren, Timothy, Nathan, Jenna, and Alex.


A memorial service will be held on January 9 at 12:00 p.m. at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
