Dayton, Minnesota - Beverly Berggren passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on May 24, 2026 at the age of 91. She was born on September 24, 1934 to Clarence and Phyllis (Curtis) Bergsven in Bemidji, MN. As a child, Beverly enjoyed helping her mother look after her four younger siblings: David, Linda, Julie, and Dan. After graduating from Bemidji High School, she attended Bemidji State Teachers College. On September 2, 1956, Bev married the love of her life, Kenneth Melvin Hatanpa in Bemidji, MN. The couple had six children: Tim, Randy, Kelly, Kent, Karen and Jon. Ken worked as a teacher and athletic coach, and later as Supervisor of Private Trade Schools for the State of Minnesota, while Bev cared for the children. Ken passed away on November 20, 1976 at the age of 41. On October 13, 1984, she married Victor Oscar Berggren in Coon Rapids, MN. The couple enjoyed nine years of companionship until Victor's death on June 22, 1993. Bev was a member of Andover Christian Church, and prior to that, a member of the Coon Rapids Church of Christ.

Her life will be celebrated Saturday, June 13th at Andover Christian Church, 16045 Nightingale Street NW in Andover, MN. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm, with a memorial service beginning at 2pm.
