Beverly Ann Anderson Obituary

Beverly (Bev) Ann Anderson, 78, of Eden Prairie, MN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5th. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. She expressed how she wished that these moments together would last forever, but she knew it was God's will her time had come. Bev was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Anderson, father John Barrett, and mother Frances Barrett. Bev is survived by her sons, Ryan (Monica); Brett (Lisa) and granddaughter, Ava; sister-in-law Cathy Kindem (Jim); and brother-in-law Jerry Bowen. After graduating with honors from Southwest High School, Bev earned her degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. She taught Physical Education in Rochester and Hopkins for 12 years, before dedicating her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband and their children. While Bev loved nature and traveling, her greatest joy came from being around animals, none more-so than her dogs. From Gina, to Chamois, and finally to Chase, her dogs held a special place in her heart. In her final days, Bev's thoughts were of her family and friends. Selfless and caring, she wanted to spend more time with all of them. She felt blessed to share her life and will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 27th, at Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Memorials can be made to Wooddale Church.
