Columbia Heights - Krahl, Betty Age 91, of Decorah, IA, Columbia Heights and Mounds View passed from her earthly life on June 17th, 2025. Betty was born in Decorah, IA and moved to Columbia Heights as a young teenager. Following high school graduation she worked in the office at Cream of Wheat and later at Columbia Heights High School. Long-time member, active in choir and dedicated volunteer at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights. Preceded in death by loving husband Glen, parents Ben & Agnes Thorson, brothers Paul Thorson and David Thorson. Survived by nieces & nephews Steve (Toni) Thorson, Karen (Walt) Grivna, Lisa (Jon) Faust, Peter (Leah) Thorson, 8 great nieces & nephews, other dear relatives including Lynn (Mike) Taffe, Mark (Val) Fisher, Connie Lieder, Sharlene Luing, and many special friends. Celebration of Life 11AM Friday, June 27th at First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights. Visitation one hour prior, lunch following.
