Mpls, MN - Preceded in death by Lucille and Paul Kinneberg, John Kinneberg and Grandson, Nicholas Kasai.

Barry came into this world in St Paul, Minnesota, September 16, 1935. He attended St Mark's Catholic School and St Thomas Academy where he played football and hockey.

In 1966, Barry graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School. He was proud to be a dentist and was very gentle and caring.

Barry became a teacher after retiring from dentistry. He was a dedicated teacher and was honored to be a teacher. He taught in the Dental Hygiene Program at Normandale Community College and other locations. Barry was an avid golfer and skier. Family vacations were always an adventure. He loved being a dad and grandpa.

Barry died at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Janet, his wife of 64 years; brother and sister: Paul Kinneberg, Winnie Kinneberg; five children: Kelly (Bob) Kasai, Amy (Luis) Cervantez, Barry Jr. (Kris) Kinneberg, Ann Kinneberg, and Molly Kinneberg; six grandchildren: Nathan Kasai, Alex (Sarah) Kasai, Shaunessy (Guillermo) Angulo, Claire (Jeff) Atkins, Charlie Kinneberg, and Henry Kinneberg; two great-grandchildren: Oliver Angulo and Itzel Angulo.

Barry believed in service and his body was bequeathed to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program for medical education.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403 on August 11 at 11:00am. Reception to follow immediately after. Onsite parking is available at the church.
