Barrett A. Wing, 85, of Mound, passed away surrounded by family on January 23, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1939 to Anthony and Gladys Wing (Anderson) and had an adventurous childhood in Excelsior, MN. He served in the U.S. Airforce for 8 years. After his service, Barry was a salesman for cars and boats, which is how he met his wife, Sandra. They were married for 46 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece; survived by his wife, Sandra Wing; daughter, Andrea Smith (Quincy); son, Justin Wing (Jess); children from first marriage, Sue Burstad (Mike); Patty Stenseth; and Todd Wing (Jeff); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dianna Gardner; and nieces. A private burial has taken place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
