Lyngblomsten Care Center , 1415 Almond Avenue St. Paul, MN 55108 - Barbara Ann, age 88, passed away peacefully with her family near her on March 26, 2026, in the good care of Lyngblomsten Care Center. Barbara was born on November 10, 1937, in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1955. She married Leon "Leo" Sawicki in 1959 and they remained devoted for over 64 years until Leo's death in 2023.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her son, John Sawicki; her grandson, Matthew Vance, and her parents, Verner and Anna Kingsberg (née Hansen). She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, LeeAnne and Mike Vance of New Hampshire, and Beth Ann and Gregg Anderson of Seattle; her grandchildren, Nathan (Brianna) Vance, Emma (Connor) Vance, and Henrik Anderson; her great-grandchildren, Jack Vore, and Nora & Emerson Vance; and her siblings, LeVern (Gerry) Kingsberg, Diane Anderson, and Judy Kingsberg.

Barbara's daughters extend a heartfelt thank you to her sister Judy, and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Jacobs, for their support of both Barbara and Leo.

A service will be held on Friday, July 17th at 11AM at House of Hope Church in St. Paul.
