Ann Starken Turner passed away peacefully at the Orchard Path in Apple Valley on 3/16/2025.
She was born 11/22/1941 in Paynesville, MN where she was Valedictorian of the class of 1959. She graduated with a degree in chemistry from St. Catherine University. She earned a Master of Library Science from the University of Denver and Juris Doctor from William Mitchell college of law. Ann enjoyed a long career as a law librarian for Minnesota law firms.
Ann was a devout Catholic, an ardent supporter of anti-war causes, an avid traveler, and a loving giver of gifts to her family and friends.
Ann was divorced, she was preceded in death by her brother Lee Starken, survived by her sister Mary Valdivia, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and her loyal friend Bill Smith.
A service will be held 11:00 am April 4th at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic church.
