Ann Dosch Obituary

Ann Dosch, an over 60-year resident of Edina, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side. Preceded in death by her parents, Gunnar and Agnes, her brother Iver, her granddaughter Patricia, and too many incredibly important friends to list. Survived by her husband of 69 years, Jim; daughters Ann (Paul), Mary (Jim), Patty (Brian), grandchildren Andy, Krista, Ryan, Kelly, Mary (Matt) and Katie (Brady), and great grandson, Maverick James; brother-in-law Tom (Phyllis), sisters-in-law Marilyn, Winnie, Georgiena and Lynn, and many nieces and nephews; her cousins in Norway, and many dear friends including Barbara and Butch.

Ann was a high-energy, active person her entire life. She did it all! She loved to travel, enjoying hiking, wine tasting, biking, skiing, or educational tours. She organized trips that included multiple family members, couples and girlfriends. She loved sports, including downhill skiing, golf (Bearpath and Braemar were favorite courses), tennis, and family volleyball games. She was a strong bridge player, avid book club member, enthusiastic Edina Garden Club member, and passionate Courage Center Women's Auxiliary member.

Friendships were incredibly important to Ann and Jim. They were blessed to have dear (younger) friends later in life, including Tom & Phyllis and Butch & Barbara. They kept them feeling young, engaged, and loved.

A private celebration of life will be held in the future. Memorial donations can be made to The Angel Foundation at https://mnangel.org/.
