St. Paul, Minnesota - Anita (Lehman) VanderPloeg was born on June 3rd, 1937, in Des Moines Iowa. She died in St. Paul, MN, on May 13th surrounded by her family. A wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, nurse, her greatest joy was watching her children and grandchildren develop into strong, kind, generous, creative, unique individuals. She loved to explore the world through travel, dabbled in various arts, enjoyed good food, the lake, and life in all its iterations. She cared deeply about her friends, her faith community, and was an advocate for those in need.

A simple celebration of life will be held at Episcopal Homes on Saturday, May 16th, at 1:00. Memorial gifts can go to Lyndale UCC, to United Theological Seminary, or to the Staff Emergency Fund at Episcopal Homes.
