Mound, MN - Allan Alden Moran, age 84, of Mound died in his home February 10, 2025. Allan was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 8, 1940. Allan and Linda Moran were married on September 17, 1966, and settled in Mound, MN.

Allan was preceded in death by his wife Linda Moran and parents, Virginia Stumne Moran and Alden Moran. Allan is survived by his sons, Kyle (Erin) and Colin (Julie). He was a Grandpa to Quinton, Shea, Nekolas, and Marisol. He is also survived by his sisters, Kay (Peter) Ellisen and Jinx Engstrom, his sisters-in-law, Lori (Jim) Staley and Beth Roberts, and many nieces and nephews.

Allan graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1958 and later served his country in the U.S. Navy. Then, he dedicated his career to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department, where he retired as Chief Deputy in 1998.

Funeral services will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Ln, Mound, MN on February 26, 2025. Starting at 10:00am with a pre-service gathering, then a celebration of life service at 11:00am, and a luncheon to follow. Interment will be in the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Garden, date to be determined. Contributions may be made in Allan's memory to St. John's Lutheran Church.
