Mpls - Age 90 of Minneapolis passed away May 31, 2026.
Alice was born May 8, 1936 in St Louis, MO. Alice went to Washington University in St. Louis. received BA in nursing, worked as an RN at the university hospital. She later relocated to Minneapolis MN. Attended University of Minnesota and received degree in anesthesia, becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
She performed anesthesia for 30 plus years in local hospitals and retired from Fairview Ridges.
Her family: Sister, June Hess of Gastonia NC, Brother-in-law Richard Mercure, now deceased, of Gastonia NC Nephew, Mark Bruder, Kate of Fernandina Beach FL Niece, Nancy Pridnia, Chris of Gastonia NC Grandnephew, Connor Pridnia of Mt. Holly NC Grandniece Ellie Bruder of Fernandina Beach FL Special daughters, Mary Louise Lockridge and Chris Wildfang Cousins, many friends, neighbors and furry friend Ella.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed summers at the lake, travelling and gardening. She was a member of Healing Hands, an excellent photographer, with a love of computers and nature. She possessed a wonderful loving disposition and a strong love for human connection. Private funeral services will be held.
