Saint Michael - Alex, age 41 of Saint Michael, Minnesota, passed away December 3, 2025, as the result of a cerebral aneurysm. He was born December 4, 1983, the son of Harvey and Mary Eckart. Alex will be deeply missed by his many friends and family members, including his children, his parents, his brother Justin (Cyndi), nephew Paul, special friend Lauren Hutson, Aunt Susan Graupmann Wierman (John), Uncles Randal Eckart (Elizabeth) and John Graupmann (Dana) and many cousins throughout the U.S. Alex was a Senior Systems Engineer for Sunrise Banks, and his family's technical expert. He had an unquenchable passion for learning, beginning with building computers, aquariums, tropical fish, photography, and tinkering with everything. He treasured our family trips to the Pacific Northwest and our family and friends there. His greatest joys and love were his children. Funeral service will be at Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, 2901 Johnson Street NE, Minneapolis on Monday, December 15 with visitation at 2:00, service at 3:00. Memorials for Alex's children are preferred.
