Richardson William F. "Bill the Barber" Richardson of Mpls. Born Jan. 28, 1911. Passed away peacefully in his sleep April 19, 2003 at the age of 92. Survived by his loving wife, Doris; daughters, Jan (Buzz) Nelson of Plymouth, Sharon Richardson of NYC and Lynne (Greg) Anderson of Eden Prairie; granddaughter, Julie (Lyle) Maryniak of Milwaukee; grandsons, Eric (Kirsten) Nelson of England, Adam Anderson of Detroit and Brandon Anderson of USMA West Point; great-grandchildren; Zachary and Karina Nelson of England; loving relatives and friends. Bill was a barber for 55 years at 38th and Grand and a long time faithful member of Mpls. 1st Church of the Nazarene (Southwest Community Church). Just before his retirement at the age of 80 the Mpls. Mayor proclaimed "Bill the Barber Day" in recognition of his longstanding caring contribution to the community with his warm friendly smiles and funny stories to go along with his great haircuts. He was friendly to everyone and people could feel free about sending their children to him on their own. Service Wednesday 11:00 AM at Southwest Community Church of the Nazarene, 1501 W. 54th St., Mpls. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday (TONIGHT) 5-8 PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. So., Richfield and 1 hour prior to service at church. Morris Nilsen Chapel 612-869-3226
