William Ambrose Welp Obituary
Welp William Ambrose Welp Sr., age 84, died on May 5, 2002. He was born in Bancroft, IA and later moved to Fort Dodge, IA where he and other family members owned Fort Dodge Limestone. He and his wife, of 61 years, retired to Mesa, AZ where they lived a number of years, before just recently moving to Hopkins, MN. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughter, Marsha (Pat) O'Brien of Bloomington; son, Bill (Gloria) of Inver Grove Heights; 3 grandchildren, Bridget, Meghan and Cameron; 3 step-grandchldren, Jenny, Mike and Jay; 5 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Jacob, Justin and Benjamin; brother, Bob (Pat) of Naples, FL; and sister, Marge (Bill) McCarten of Fort Dodge, IA. Memorials preferred to Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park or Corpus Christi Church, Fort Dodge, IA. Services to be held in Fort Dodge, IA. He will be greatly missed.
