Keene William ''Bill'', 66, formerly of Minnesota, passed away in Naples, FL Sunday, May 12, 2002. Mr. Keene was born in St. Paul, MN and worked there as a controller for the Lyman Lumber Co. for 20 years. He had been a frequent visitor to Naples for 18 years before moving here last year. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janice; one son, Carl (Cindy) Keene of Naperville, IL; one daughter, Laurie (Johann) Saurbier of Naples, FL; one sister, Phyllis (Walter) Johnson of Woodbury, MN; and one aunt, Helen Harrison of St. Paul, MN. He also has five grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Keene, Luke Beatty, and Alexander & Brooke Saurbier. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2002 at 1:00 PM from the North Naples United Methodist Church, 600 Goodlette Rd. N., Naples, FL. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to either Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105 or North Naples United Methodist Church, 600 Goodlette Rd N., Naples, FL or Park View United Church of Christ, 3737 Bellaire Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
