Staler Walter J., of the Bronx, New York, age 77, formerly of Edina, MN, died February 2, 2003 in Nashville, TN. Father of Ave Lachiewicz, Joseph Staler, Gregory Staler, Jayne Cobb, Lisa Gallerano, Virginia Nash, and Kristin Kucholtz. Grandfather of Jayne, Annie, Mark, John, Mary Claire, Jessica, Joseph, Jay, Kathryn, Kristin, Will, Ian, Christopher, Claire, Kate, Annie, Sean, Ryan, Lauren, Jennifer, Kevin, and Nicholas. Employed by Union Camp Corp., Great Plains Bag Co., Bemis Co., and Langston Companies Inc. Visitation on Friday, February 7 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Riverdale on the Hudson Funeral Home, 718-884-6100. Funeral on Saturday, February 8 at 10:00 am at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Riverdale, NY. Memorials preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor, Manhattan, NY. He was a proud Polish kid from the Bronx who grew up to be a great salesman.
